Right about this time of night, is when I collect my thoughts of the day. This is where I sit and write about things that don’t really make sense to anyone but me.
I feel peace knowing that everyone is asleep and I am the only one awake, as if I were a night watchmen.
During the day, I would like to think that I am the only one asleep, and everyone else is awake to watch over me.The sun hurts my eyes as I look towards a brighter day, only the night time makes me feel calm.
I want to be that moon.
It is my comfort here on Earth, I am able to look at it directly for hours on end and say…you might not be as bright or as powerful as the sun…or maybe you are in your own way, but tomorrow you will be a full moon…tomorrow you will be a new moon.
It can control tides and brighten everything when it is dark.
In that case, I AM THE MOON.
